1. To realize the participians that; the importance of ultrasound in the evaluation and treatment of trauma patients.
2.To inform the participants about the possibilities of could be done, and couldn’t be done with a bedside USG in a trauma patient
3.To give the participant simplified basic physics of ultrasound, handling the machine, different buttons/knobs, probe orientation, Imaging modes, gain & depth setting, ultrasound artifacts and optimization recording and reporting of image.
4.To teach how to perform Focused Assessment with Sonography for Trauma (FAST). In this way obtain the ability of rapid intra-abdominal free-fluid scanning in blunt or penetrating trauma
5.To teach 4 main cardiac windows of echocardiography in traumatic pericardial tamponade
6.To teach detection of tracheal injuries, airway confirmation, and scanning of pneumothorax, hemothorax
7.To teach the patient’s current intravascular volüme status, and response to fluid resuscitation with inferior vena cava assessment
8.To get ultrasound guided iv. access ability in the situation of difficulty in the establishment of iv accsess in trauma patient
9.Improve the potential use of ultrasound in trauma patient

1.Physics of Ultrasound and Knobology
2.Focused assessment with sonography for trauma (FeAST)
3.Focused cardiac assessment in trauma
4.Airway and Lung ultrasound in trauma
5.Assessment of inferior vena cava (IVC) in trauma
6.Ultrasound guided central and peripheral intravenous Access
7.Evaluation of eye trauma
